Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 February 2026
The short version
This website uses no first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services embedded on certain pages may set their own functional cookies as described below. No advertising cookies, no social media cookies, no third-party analytics cookies.
We made this choice deliberately. As a security company, we believe privacy should be a default – not something you opt into via a cookie banner.
Analytics: cookieless by design
We use Plausible Analytics for website analytics. Plausible is a privacy-respecting analytics platform that works without cookies. It collects no personal data and cannot identify individual visitors.
What Plausible does tell us:
- Which pages are visited and how often (aggregate counts).
- Where visitors come from (referral sources).
- What devices and browsers are used (aggregate breakdowns).
- Which countries visitors are in (from IP, but IPs are never stored).
What Plausible does not do: track individuals, set cookies, collect personal data, or share data with third parties. Plausible is EU-hosted and fully GDPR compliant. You can read more at plausible.io/data-policy.
What we do use: localStorage
Instead of cookies, we use your browser's localStorage (a simple key-value store that stays on your device and is never sent to our servers) for two things:
Theme preference
When you toggle between light and dark mode, your choice is saved locally so the site looks the way you want on your next visit. Key: theme.
Cookie banner dismissal
When you dismiss the cookie info banner, we remember that so it does not appear again. Key: cookie-dismissed.
localStorage is not a cookie. It is never transmitted to our servers, is never shared with third parties, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party services
Stripe handles payment processing for service invoicing. Stripe's payment page is hosted on Stripe's domain – when you make a payment, you are redirected to Stripe, which may set its own cookies according to Stripe's privacy policy. Those cookies are Stripe's responsibility, not ours, and they only apply while you are on Stripe's page.
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Cloudflare may set a minimal __cf_bm cookie for bot management. This is a strictly necessary technical cookie and does not track you. See Cloudflare's cookie policy.
Third-party embeds
The booking widget on our Contact page is provided by Cal.com (hosted in the EU at cal.eu). This widget may set cookies required for Cloudflare bot protection (__cf_bm, _cfuvid). These are not tracking cookies – they are functional security cookies set by Cloudflare on behalf of Cal.com. We do not control these cookies. See Cal.com's privacy policy and Cloudflare's cookie policy for details.
Why no cookie consent popup?
Because there is nothing to consent to. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. The ePrivacy Directive (and GDPR) only require consent for non-essential cookies – and we do not set any. The informational banner you may see on your first visit is a courtesy notice, not a consent mechanism.
