We standardise on Fortinet because their Security Fabric gives us end-to-end visibility: firewall, switches, and access points all managed from a single pane of glass. Combined with FortiAnalyzer for logging and reporting, we can see exactly what is happening on your network at any given moment.

For connectivity, we work with Blacknight for fibre circuits in Ireland and Starlink Business for locations where traditional broadband is not available or reliable. For multi-site organisations, we design SD-WAN topologies that provide automatic failover and application-aware routing across all locations.

Do I need to use Fortinet equipment?

We standardise on Fortinet for new deployments because the Security Fabric integration (firewall, switches, APs, analytics) delivers better visibility and simpler management than mixing vendors. For existing non-Fortinet environments, we can manage what you have during a transition period and plan a phased migration if appropriate.

Can you manage our existing network equipment?

Yes. We can manage existing switches, access points, and firewalls from other vendors as part of a networking engagement, though we may recommend a migration path to Fortinet for better integration and long-term supportability.

Is Starlink reliable enough for business use?

Starlink Business provides low-latency broadband that works well as a primary connection for rural sites or as a failover circuit. We typically deploy it alongside a traditional ISP circuit for redundancy. For sites where fibre is genuinely unavailable, Starlink is often the best option available.

How do you handle network segmentation for manufacturing?

We create distinct VLANs for corporate IT, production floor OT devices, CCTV, guest access, and any other traffic types. Firewall rules control what can communicate between segments. This is particularly important for NIS2 compliance and protecting production systems from IT-side threats.

How is networking priced?

Networking is priced per project, not included in COSAINT tiers. We assess your site, design the network, and provide a fixed-price quote covering hardware, licensing, deployment, and configuration. Ongoing management is available as an optional monthly add-on per device.
