24/7 human-led SOC monitoring for each shared device endpoint.

Post-delivery phishing and BEC protection for shared mailboxes.

SaaS Backup

Mailbox and OneDrive backup for each shared account.

Trade-offs to know

F3 licences have storage limits compared to Business Premium. Here is how to work within them.

2GB mailbox

F3 Exchange Kiosk provides a 2GB mailbox. Manage with retention policies to keep within limits. Shared devices typically send operational notifications, not heavy correspondence.

2GB OneDrive

F3 includes 2GB OneDrive per account. Use SharePoint document libraries with sync for shared process documents and SOPs. OneDrive is for per-account files only.

Is this per device or per account?
Per account. A single shared device account can be used across multiple physical devices – for example, one account for all kiosk terminals on a factory floor. You pay EUR 35 per shared account per month, regardless of how many devices use that account.
What is M365 F3?
Microsoft 365 F3 (Frontline Worker) is a Microsoft licence designed for shared and frontline scenarios. It includes desktop Office apps (SCA), Entra P1, Intune P1, MDE P1, Windows E3, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Kiosk. It provides a lower-cost alternative to full Business Premium for devices that do not need individual user licences.
Do shared devices get the same security as regular users?
Yes. Shared devices get Blackpoint SOC monitoring, Ironscales email protection, MDE P1 endpoint hardening, and Entra P1 Conditional Access – the same security baseline as COSAINT Managed. The only difference is the F3 licence instead of Business Premium, which affects mailbox and OneDrive storage limits.
Do I need a COSAINT base tier?
Yes. Shared Devices is an add-on that extends any COSAINT base tier. The shared device accounts are managed alongside your regular user accounts in the same tenant.
